When you are in the beginning stages of a home remodel the pure excitement is elevating your energy levels. You are able to stay on Pinterest for hours sifting through pins to find the perfect color story, the kismet cabinets, and the harmonious combination of furniture. Then reality sets in and you realize you are 5 months into it, everything is covered in sawdust, and you frequent Lowes & Home Depot so often that you could give directions to the paint department to other aimless wondering shoppers. Even even the renovation is complete … the wow factor is merely a whisper. Your empty home doesn’t have your furniture in it. Furniture can transform a space just as much as renovations can. We helped Kate from Wit & Delight add much needed style elements to her newly renovated home to inject some dramatic modern elements to her house that had traditional architectural details.
