In the spirit of Halloween our team, and a few significant others, recently ventured to the Haunted Cavern at Ruby Falls. After a celebratory birthday dinner for our sales maestro Melanie (she’s sporting the green beanie), we ventured up Lookout Mountain and descended into what can only be described as an hour of terror, horror, and fun. Voted one of the best haunted houses by Rand McNally, the Ruby Falls Haunted Cavern takes you 26 floors underground where, they claim, no one can hear you scream. I hate to be difficult, but after going through the cavern with Karen and Catharine I have to disagree. Caves echo; everyone down there could hear them screaming, the ENTIRE time. Fortunately, their horror was our pleasure. Several of us finished the journey with sore ribs and stomachs from laughing so much.
All in all, the evening was a resounding success and we’re already making plans to go back next year. If you live in the Chattanooga area or are thinking of making the trek, we strongly recommend the Haunted Cavern to anyone looking for a night of fright and excitement. Our team had a blast. After all, what’s more fun than watching your coworkers be terrified by ghouls and ghosts? Here’s to you, Ruby Falls – thanks for giving us an awesome experience.
