Happy New Year from Smart Furniture

I know we’re jumping the gun a little bit, but I can’t resist; happy new year, y’all! I hope you’ve had as incredible a year as we have here at Smart Furniture. 2012 has been good to us, and we’re looking forward to a lot more of the same in 2013. You know the feeling you get when you’re looking back at good memories? I’ve got it right now. Things like big goals reached, company parties, being able to help people in unexpected ways, and new team members who make us laugh and do their jobs super well—these kinds of memories are worth keeping hold of.

Here are some of the things we’re looking forward to in 2013:

We already have legendary customer service, but it’ll be even better this coming year! If I were to tell you exactly how, you’d be bored. But sometimes the most mundane things are the ones that make the biggest difference—both to us, and to you!

We’ll be adding even more great stuff for you to peruse; home furniture and decor, office furniture and accessories, and more. That’s one of the most exciting parts of this gig. We get to see a lot of cool stuff as we add it and become familiar with designers, both current and historic.

Our team is awesome, and we feel complete. But there’s someone out there (ok, a few someones) who we haven’t met yet. They may not even know it, but they’ll be part of our team before the year is out. How cool is that? We’re growing, and a natural function of growth is that we get to meet new people and become part of their lives. You know the old trope about how “we’re a family, blah blah blah?” Here’s a secret: it may not be true in many workplaces, but we’re about as close as we can get to family at Smart Furniture. See, I saved the best for last.

Happy New Year

I really hope you’re looking forward to a great year in 2013. Now’s the time for optimism, new beginnings, making resolutions, and loving on the people close to you. Whether you’ll start it off by popping a bottle of bubbly, making a racket all over your neighborhood, or kissing a random stranger (maybe all three?), have a Happy New Year!

I work under the official-sounding, completely made-up title of Marketing Content Specialist. That's simply because "Dude Who Writes Stuff" would make a lame title. Oh, and my co-workers don't let me make the Chewbacca noise in the office. For some reason it bothers them. But that's the first sound that comes to my mind when something deserves a reaction. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about me based on that.
